Active Sports Development currently deliver Multi-skill sessions during curriculum time and for extended school activities. The emphasis of Multi-Skills sessions are on the development of the FUNdamentals of movement, such as agility, balance and co-ordination, and essential movement skills, such as running, jumping and turning, which form the basis of most sports. The ultimate aim is to improve a young person’s movement competencies, confidence and understanding of these skills whilst also providing a fun, challenging environment in which to recognise talent and future potential.

Active Sports Development delivers both after-school football clubs and football coaching for P.E. lessons. These sessions focus on developing skill and technique for all ages and abilities in a fun and safe environment.
All of our football coaches are qualified to a minimum of the FA Level 1 Coaching Certificate.

Active Sports Development deliver Athletics coaching for curriculum time and for after school clubs, focusing on track and field events including running, throwing and jumping disciplines. Sessions are delivered by Dan Moody who is a Level 2 UK Athletics Coach.

Active Sports Development deliver Volleyball coaching for PE lessons, lunchtime clubs and for after school clubs. All of our Volleyball coaches are qualified to a minimum of the UKCC Level 1 Coaching Certificate.

Coaching: National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) |
|
The Royal Life Saving Society National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is widely recognised as the appropriate qualification for those responsible for the supervision of swimming pools. This course is of 38 hours duration and covers accident prevention, water rescue, first aid / resuscitation procedures and more! Candidates must be 16 years of age or over.
