News: February Half Term Sports Week |

During the February half term Active Sports Development organised a 3 day sports camp at St Michael’s Middle School in Wimborne for boys and girls in Years 4 to 7 of any sporting ability. The camp was open to children from all first schools in the Wimborne and Colehill area, as well as St Michael’s itself.
The first day was a football day and included skill and technique coaching sessions and small sided tournaments. Although the weather was not on our side we had a great day and the children interacted well together.
The next two days which consisted of Dodgeball, Basketball, Swimming and Water Safety Skills were also a great success. The variety of sports proved to be popular and kept the children interested in what they were doing.
We would like to thank all of the children who attended these days and we hope to see you all at the next Holiday Sports Course which will be announced shortly. Please go to our Events Calendar for details of future sports camps and other events.
We would also like to thank Mrs Katrina Cole and St Michael’s Middle School for all their help in making the sports camp a success.
