OCTOBER HALF TERM HOLIDAY FESTIVAL PDF Print E-mail

Active Sports Development are happy to announce that we are putting on our first, and Dorset's only Rookie Lifeguard  Festival this October half term holiday. On Tuesday 25th of October, St Michaels middle school swimming pool will be the venue for this fantastic new club.

Three fun packed days for children aged 7 - 13.

The Festival is a fantastic opportunity to discover and learn a fantastic lifesaving skill that could not only save your own life but friends and family. Learn How to save someone out at sea by using ropes, recover casualties at the bottom of a swimming pool, treat injuries including broken bones and cuts.

 

The Ultimate aim is to use your new skills to save a life!

Spaces are limited so advanced booking is advised. Places are on a first come, first served basis. Please book before Monday 17th October so that we can confirm numbers and arrange for extra coaching staff if necessary.

ALL CHANGE FOR ROOKIES CLUB! PDF Print E-mail

 

 

A new look Rookie Lifeguard Club, with a new name, a sharp looking logo and the best news is we have an extra night session!

Dorset Rookies Lifesaving Club is the new name for the exsisting club. The other sessions will continue on the same nights but good news is we now have added another session to our ever expanding community club!

CIRCUIT TRAINING CLASS PDF Print E-mail

On the 19th of January 2011 Active Sports Development started a new Circuit Training class at Allenbourn Middle School, Wimborne.

 

This session is an excellent way to improve general strength and conditioning as well as core strength and stability. The sessions will use various pieces of equipment in a number of different class formats and are for all levels from beginners to advanced in a relaxed, enjoyable and social atmosphere. The sessions will be taken by coaches Dan and Chris, we look forward to seeing you there.

 

Allenbourn Middle School

Wednesday evenings 6-7pm.

The cost... only £3 per session!
